I found this odd:
"The in-dash CD player will be MP3 capable as of October 2005 production on the navigation equipped cars; on cars without navigation the CD-player will be MP3 capable starting September production."
Weird because my March production non-nav equipped car had MP3 capability day-one.
They probably mean its available immediately on the non-NAV cars ( since they are talking about September spec cars )
Yeah, starting September vs. available since March production - which would have been clearer. It's no wonder the dealers get confused.

Interesting that all USA E60 wil now have chrome kidney grills standard, not just the V8 models

Interesting to see how they are gonna do it in Europe.
But if I have it right, the 525i will have a 3.0 litre engine.
This really sounds like a rumour (as the crome grill).

Interesting to see what's coming in the US.
Looks like the standard/options/packages are diverging more and more between US and Canada. See my earlier topic about the 06 changes in Canada. That info was also from the same document for Canada. The major difference for 550i customers is that the M Sport Pak will be available in Canada. The other being the transmissions. Having looked over the document more closely, I see there is no clear reference to SMG being not available. However, it has no indication of it being available either. The removal of SMG info came from the dealer (and we now how reliable they can be).
