Hi Vern, I think it does, there are 2 sets of prices for all the options.

For Instance

ZSP Sport Package for the 550 has Suggested Retail price of $4,600, and invoice price of $4,185
All the other options have 2 prices listed. ED invoice price on options is the same as USA invoice price.

Hope this helps.

YES, There is MACO $250 and Prep.fee $ 180 on the dealers documents. I was showed this by my honest (?) salesperson.
One of this is included in base price ( invoice or msrp i.e, Hidden)

This link: http://jon.bimmerfest.com/bulletins/08_E60_pricing.pdf has what you're looking for. Page 1 are the wholesale prices, page 2 has the retail prices, and pages 3 & 4 show the breakdown of the different packages (showing retail prices again.)

As far as the dealer prep charge, the 2004 price list showed it as "STD" which would imply that it was built into the base price back then...

My salesman (who I know well) told me it's some kind of 'training fee' which the dealer has to pay, and it's in addition to the delivery fee (which has gone up by $800). BMW is becoming like a bank, trying to figure out new, less obvious ways to charge you money, while at the same time trying to stay competitive with other manufacturers. I hate little fees that are pure b.s. It's insulting to the consumers, and, once they start, there are only more and more and more....

EDIT typo-- delivery fee is up by $80, not $800!

Wow this is great these prices are lower then were a 2007 bmw selling right now. For example 2007 525I BMW Cold weather and Automatice trans. MSRP 46220. Invoice 42790. New 2008 MSRP 46005 Invoice 42395. and that includes the new better motor ect. I hope i didn't make a mistake leasing a 2007 well it is only for 2 years and I am sure the interest rate won't be as good on the 2008 but the residual will be much higher then 70% so that could make up for it. All the dealers were telling me that the 2008 were going to go up in price i guess they were wrong. I guess we will see when the lease deals come out if it will come in cheaper then then 2007. Some dealers will go +700 over invoice on the 2007 i am sure they won't do that for a while on the 2008's.
