I'm working up my final order for a 550i this week and I'm trying to work out all the seat and heating options and which leather is availble with each.

It seems that if you want ventilated (and heated) seats you must order Nasca leather. So, is Nasca an upgrade from Dakota? Is it worth getting even without ventilated seats?

The lineup so far:
Jet black
Beige interior
Sport package
Premium sound package
Cold weather package
Rear seat heating
Fold down rear seats
Comfort seats
Navigation system
HUD
Satellite radio

 

Nasca leather requires ventilated seats, ventilated seats require Nasca leather.
You can't order Nasca without ventilated seats on the 5series, AFAIK.

No complaints about the leather.
I love the ventilation. I use it very often, even more often than the heating.
