36 days to go on my lease and I finally gave BMW Fiancial a call on my 06 530xi. Residual on the vehicle was stated at $31,000. The young woman informed me that due to incentives she could lop $6500 right off the top and offer me 2.9 percent financing for up to 5 years. She seemed very anxious to make it happen as she mailed me the offer right away and said she would follow up in a week or two.

If I was offered 24.5K without asking for anything....I'm thinking I'll play this out to the very end and see what happens.

Oh yeah, asked about extended warranty $3,500 Yeowwwwwwwwww!

Was that for CPO warranty AND Maintenance package? If it was it may not be a bad deal if you think you'll face any post-warranty repairs or if your driving habits will earn you an extra brake job and 2-3 oil services, fluid changes, etc. That said, EVERYTHING is negotiable.
