I just got off the phone with an actuall BMW rep from the headquarters in Munich. He seemed very sympathetic to my particular situation and offered to do what "BMW" could to rectify the situation. I just sent him an Email listing all the complaints in order of occurance. I explained that I wanted to try to obtain all the records from the various dealerships I have been to, and he told me not to worry about it since HIS computer is tied into ALL the service centers in germany....he can pull my service record up on his machine.....now that is high speed. Wish me luck!!!!!

BMW USA (NA) is nothing compared to BMW Munich. They are mostly ignorance?

They would have to do the same thing in the US it is called discovery if you wind up in a lawsuit. I always tell me client's this Always assume you will end up in a lawsuit over big ticket items like cars and houses...keep your records..they cold magically disappear or change over time by osmosis.

GOOD LUCK!!

Why do say that? Have you had experience with both?

No, I am an attorney who deals with these issue and I wouldn't put it past any company to CYA if necessary.
