That is neat, I didn?t know that would work but it makes sense.

Almost makes me want to dent my car to see if it really works. On second thought maybe I will try it on my wife?s car

I've tried this - I can confirm it works - though I used a hairdryer, not the lighter as illustrated. The problem is the paint over time with this repair..I've heard nightmarish stories though knock on wood ** no issues for me thus far.
