you never get what you want with a dealer.
sell it yourself.
+1. Trade in prices paid by new car dealers usually suck.

ANY IDEAS, or plans of action am i being too hard, id except 35 but 31 is a joke, the car still smells like new, got in sept 07
They're not crazy, they basing their pricing from what they can get for the same car at a auction. Dealers dont use KBB anymore.

then im thinking ive paid half of it off in two years ive knocked out a whole year of payments, just 2 left, just try to refinance it, but to tack on another 3 or 5 years to pay 5-600 a month not worth it, and still no warranty. luckly my father-in-law is a great mechanic i can trust been working on saabs all his life so he knows the in and outs of the business he explained to me where i f'ed up after selling my first 325ci, but i was young dumb and making some money living in a condo not expecting then next two years to happen so fast baby and house. I LOVE MY CAR but i have to do what needs to be done and my 1088 payment for a car is a luxury i can live without

well, a manual is harder to sell in a large sedan. there's a reason why most are sold with an auto.

+1 Even though there is a higher % here, not many manuals in general in 5ers

I had only 6 different cars to choose from when I went shopping last year. That's nationwide, and on the boat coming over.

Of course, the minimum reqs were all three packages, and a stick.

Most people do want an automatic. The only manual folks will be on this forum or/and be a BMWCCA member.
A lot of folks equate a 5 series as a luxury car and to them luxury cars are automatics...............

I got a great deal on my e46. The dealership could not sell it because it was a manual..............................
There is some validity there. You always get more selling the car yourself. I did not have the time and was able to take the tradein value off the bttm line so I only paid tax on the difference.

I do not get it about car payments. My friends and I joke that it is all about commas and decimal points. We 'all' make the same amount of money.....some of us though the decimal may be over one space to the right or left, lol.
Cannot fathom a $1000 car payment
