Thank you for the kind words. It has been difficult not knowing where the car was after it was built. No that I know where it is at I feel much better.

When are you taking delivery of the new X series?

Less than 24 hrs to go
What to do to make the time go by? I have no yard to mow, it is a german holiday so nothing is open.
What to do? What to do?

re-read the manual for the umpteenth time, enjoy some lovely sausage and beer as you will be off the alcohol for some time after getting your car.........I now always volunteer to drive to the pub/restraunt etc etc ....just so as I can enjoy the drive!

good luck for tomorrow

How long can you hold your breath?

Not long enough but I guess that will take up a little time.
I have been going over the checklist and reading the manual a little bit.

Almost there. Last minute checklist?

1. Inspection sheet (for verifying each option)
2. Folder with your PO, receipts, other docs
3. Digital Camera with new batteries
4. Registration and Insurance
5. Plates

While picking up ask about...(if desired)

- Software version and printout of activated features (ask for DRL, if desired)
- Rear reflectors
- Read console trim w/appropriate cutouts
- DVD NAV disk
- BMW Umbrella
- Trunk mat
- Cargo net
- Mud flaps
- Other throw ins (floor mats, etc.)

And most importantly..... savor each moment, take your time and enjoy!
