HELP. Transmission problem!!!
 

I'm a e60 owner think I'm having a tranny problem, when i come to a complete stop and accelerate the car picks up quickly but when your slowing down probably going into 2nd or 1st gear the car slams into either of those gears after quick acceleration and when slowing down and it also shakes when in 3rd or 4th gear at about 3000/4000 RPM going 30- 40 MPH and i have to shift it in DS mode then it stops shaking. 170 miles. I'm thinking i need to change the transmission oil and filter don't think it has been changed before got the car at 168 miles.:(

I didnt have the shaking problem, but I did have the tranny slam into gears, very hard as a matter of fact. Specially when slowing down. My car has 70k miles, and had to get the transmission replaced completely.

I am having the exact same problem right now. Did you figure out what the problem was?
