Help. Got a chance for a trade-in on my 530d SE ( Titanium Silver, prof nav, black leather, heated seats, phone, Logic 7) for Carbon Black 535D sport with visibility package, Black leather, electric comfort seats, folding mirrors, auto dim interior, sunroof, logic 7, comfort glass, media package, high gloss line. SE is one year old, so I lose big. Also, it's going to cost me about ?1500 and ?80 extra a month on the finance. OR I could pre-order a demonstrator spec'd to my own fancy. Figures not known because they can't predict what my 530SE is worth in 4-5 months. Demonstrator has to be on demonstration for 3 months. Anyone suggest a solution.

I personally wouldn't touch an ex demo car as they aren't excatly treated with kid gloves especially a 535D which everyone is going to want to gun hard to see what it can do.

You'd be better advised testing the water by advertising your car privately or trading it in against a new car. I have been quoted 10% off a new 535d sport and I can't see you getting an ex-demo much cheaper.

I lost lots and lots when I traded my 525d SE in last month. the way I looked at it was , I still owed about one more year on finance and it wasn't rearly the car I wanted to end up with and also the nock back on a two year old 525D would be about ten thousand pound. So with that in mind im sure the nock back on a 535d sport would be less and it the car I am happy to keep for a while.
basically if you are paying for something at least be happy with it
