I have a couple issues that I would like to see what a good, reputable shop has to say about them. The biggest one is that there is a leak on the ARS unit on the sway bar. The stealership wanted $1,795.00 for the part and then almost two hours to replace it. I know I can get the part for less, but I don't know if it really needs replaced. I don't know if the leak is from the connections or the unit itself. I also have an oil leak from the vacuum pump and the stealer said the front control arm bushings are torn. I know that I can replace the vacuum pump myself, but I want to find the leak before I replace the complete unit, I think that the BMW stealer just wants to replace things rather than fixing them...
I am up in the Allen area for those in the DFW area. I am thinking of checking out EuroSport in Plano, but would like to see who others use.
Thanks,
John

Never had work done at EuroSport - however, I highly recommend AutoScope which is located right there by EuroSport. I have had a lot of work done there and am very pleased.
My favorite place is at 35 and Royal called nine eleven enterprises - Barry is the owner and will take very good care of you.
Cant go wrong at either place.

My Ride: '04 545i, sport pkg, premium sound, sprint booster,
I go to Autoscope for my 545i. There is one at 601 Coit Road in Plano, I use the one south of Love Field in Dallas; altogether there are 4 locations. They have taken care of a few problems for me and saved me a bunch of $$$$.

I have been using Schroeder's in McKinney. I had the Service Engine Soon light come on, and I took it to him and also had the oil changed. He checked everything out as being 'OK' so he reset the light and only charged me for the oil change.
