hello gentlemen,
i hope you can take your time and try to send some advices for an absolute beginner:
i'm a middle aged person living in Eastern Europe with a particular situation : wife and kids are about 1 000 km away from me, so i thought about buying a diesel 2nd hand BMW E 60 from Germany as a mean to reach them frequently.
the problem i found is with the quite confusing ( for me ) terms on technical specifications, which are usually delivered in german on the mobile.de/ auto.de sites. i also wonder if all that extras stuff is really necessary and i need a hand. i was thinking about a 530/535 d 2006 model with less than 50 000 km, let's say.
