FREE Software Update, possible?

My Ride: 2004 530I Black/Black, Premium/Sport, Navigation
2005 545I Silver/Black, Premium/Sport, Logic 7, Navigation
I'm thinking of taking my car to dealer and have them activate my bluetooth, and i'm aware that they will be charging some service fees for it. Is there any possibility that i can have them upgrade the software for free? Maybe by telling them that i'm having some problem with the car? Well, actually i do have some problem with the car that happened few times, one of them is the gauge light will not turn on at the night time and the next morning, everything is fine again and my nav screen turned black several time. Would that be enough reason for them to make a software upgrade?

Tell them those problems + that your I-Drive hangs on you with startup and starts to cycle between a black screen and the BMW logo.
