Ok, so I picked it up.
And wow. It's really amazing. I don't have any pictures because I didn't have my camera at the dealership, and it's dark now. But I promise I'll do it soon!
I'm pretty much speechless.

Congrats das! Now you know what all of us have been experiencing!!
I'm sure you'll be speechless for quite a while and your face will be numb from the semi-permanent grin you'll have each and every time you look at or drive your new baby.
(In case you're wondering, my face still hurts and I still have the grin after 16,000 miles...
)

Ok, here she is! And as promised:
Vehicle software represents an as-yet-unreleased CIP (E060-05-09-535) [Edit 11/16/05: this software is now included in CIP 19.02.03]
MP3 support is present on CCC in the single CD slot (which others have already confirmed)
Long filename support does work (I'll be doing more testing on this over the next few days)
Vehicle was delivered at the dealership with 5 miles on the odometer
And, at long last (some quick and dirty pictures before I head to the office...)
Note: standard, non-xi Style 124 wheels (I just finally found out today that the xi offset difference on front and rear is an additional 23mm (!!), much more than I had thought - this means the rear wheels and tires are okay (like having a 23mm spacer), but the front wheels could stand to be inset another 10-15mm):

Sorry--had to do it...
