Finally got a VIN for my 550i Order

My Ride: 2006 550i SMG
After weeks of waiting, my dealer finally called with my VIN number! ...but when I went to track it, none of my options (which by the way I aggonized picking for months) popped up in the options box. Is this normal???

My car is now awaiting for transport and I dont see my options yet. I remember when I first order my first e46 then my e39 then my other e60 and now my coming e60. I got to see the list of options when my car was in the preparation center. I think if i remember correctly.

When did u order the car?Is your delivery mid or late nov?

The owners circle website is not accurate at all, and per other posts significantly lags behind the true status of your vehicle. I think all you can expect from the site is the year and model of your car, plus the color of leather (my Auburn leather was listed as "orange red" on the website!! 
Until your car is at the port of exit, BMW NA is the best place to get updates (find the 800 number from other posts). Once at the port of exit, they transfer all the data directly to your dealership, so they are the people to hound while your car is on a ship heading to the VPC.
The best way to ensure the accuracy of your order is by getting the printed order sheet from your sales manager. (That's what I did today!)

Thanks...I feel a lot better now!
I placed the order Sept. 8th, which I believe caused my wife to go into labor later that night and we had our 3rd kid (finally a boy) the next day!
The dealer said they had two available to order, the first with a late October delivery, and the other with an early November delivery. I opted for the November one to ensure SMG production.

Ya initially the car is not specd to your options... it's still showing the dealer default... Your options will show up in due time... when they decide to update the system... BMW OL is Sllllllllooooooooooow....
