extended maintenance

one question for you guys....
my 4 year maintenance on my 525 expires in march 08. i have 25k miles on the car and was offered to purchase extended 2 year (or 100k miles) maintenance. my break check is scheduled in 7k miles, enegine check up in 5k miles and oil has been done recently. is it worth to pay the $1500 for the extended maintenance from your expereince, when i will not put more than 24k miles on the car over the next 2 years? thanks.

I bought it for both my car and my wifes. And you can sell it with the car as its not tied to the person its tied to the VIN.

I recently extended the basic warranty. Now I think I am going to get the extended maintenance warranty also. The twinkidneygrill.com site has a notice on the home page saying that BMW NA is raising the price of the extended maintenance warranty upgrade on June 17th 2007. I know after 50,000m I will need new brake rotors/pads, Inspection II at 60,000m, Inspection I at 90,000m, two oil services, and possibly more. That has to add up a lot more than the $1195.00 that twinkidneygrill.com is charging. I don't do work on my car, don't really have the time, nor do I have the know how to do it, especially a brake job. So the extended maintenance looks good to me.

If I was outside of HK then I will 100% get the extended maintenance.
But I am in HK right now and no way will I evey the extended maintenance cos itis a con way to much for what it is. About $3000us a year.
So I just DIY my car.
