If you find your ship's name through your dealer, you can track it across the ocean on the site below:

http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/allships.phtml (be sure to click on "plot" after your ships name)

Mine is als on on the "Aegean Leader" and I'm following it across the pond.

You wouldn't happen to know it's due to arrive at Port Hueneme would you?

WOW... Ordered my car through military sales in July. It arrived at Oxnard on Nov 3.... And today! I found out it just went into the processing center today.

How long does it take at the VPC?

My car is also on the Aegean Leader. According to my dealer (South Bay BMW), the ETA for port arrival is December 5. Add 2 or 3 days at the VPC and a few days travel time to your dealer and you should be able to estimate your car's arrival.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the info. Right now I'm tracking the ship and it is off the coast of Florida. I wonder if it has to stop at Jacksonville of any other east coast port before heading for Port Huemene.

Okay? fellas, here?s the deal:

BMW currently use two different shipping companies:
1) Wallenius Wilhelmsen
2) NYK Lines
If your car is on board of? Wallenius ship, you can track the ship?s schedule by simply input the VIN number of your car as the cargo ID at their website. See link below:

http://www.wlna.com/www/customerCentre/car...gLaunchPage.htm

If your car is on board of NYK?s ship (like me) then you are S.O.L. as NYK does not have that ability currently at their web site (Maybe next year but not now).

Since I know the ship my car is on, I am able to use my contact at NYK?s office and check up on the progress.

I don?t want to pester my contact at NYK Lines so I am limiting my check-up on the ship?s schedule on a weekly basis (every Friday).? I will post the latest estimated date tomorrow.

Couple more items
1) MS Pegasus Diamond was originally scheduled to arrive Port Hueneme on 11/22/04 The current timing of 11/29~11/20 is much improved.
2) There is a boat arriving Port Hueneme practically every other day Here?s a short list that I am aware of:
Titus 11/11
Fuji 11/14
MS Pegasus Diamond 11/20
MS Grus 11/23
Falstaff 11/26
Mignon 12/21
Takara 12/05
Don Quijote 12/13
Boheme 12/11
Isolde 12/23

Just to name a few?

Quite frankly? knowing the name of the ship is absolutely useless ?.car can/do get damaged all the time and VPC will have to fix it and thus delays the process.

Keep the faith fellas,

Could you find out when the Jupiter Diamond is scheduled to arrive in Oxnard?
Thanks.

Davoe, the Jupiter Diamond is shown on ship tracker about 600 miles off the coast of Japan or approximately 5200 miles west of Oxnard. At 18 miles/hr (the speed the ship Freedom carrying my car travels) it should arrive in Oxnard in about 12 days unless it stops somewhere else first. Hope this helps. I certainly don't have a ship itinerary like beewang.

My mistake. That ship position was from March. I didn't check the date.
