European delivery Questions

Hello everyone,

I am interested in picking up another Car, and wanted to the European delivery. Can anyone tell me what kind of negotiating I can do? I noticed that the MSRP was reduced....is it a set price or is there any room left in it?

Also, will they give me a Europe Nav Disc while I am there? will the navigation be functional?

You will not get a nav disk. You can however, purchase one.

You can also rent one on the bimmerfest forum. Look at the European delivery forum at www.bimmerfest.com for more details.

Euro Delivery prices has a certin amount of room to negotiate & yes, they will loan you a english language european dvd for nav [at least that is what my dear in Maryland did].

please update your signature/ location so everyone knows where you are from as it makes it easier to reply tp specific questions.

you will further get a detailed package from BMW with alot of information regarding hotels, places to go , discount coupons, etc.

Find out what the ED INVOICE price is for your dream vehicle. Then email all the dealers which you would want to do business with. Give them full details of the vehicle and options, and ask them ONE question: What is your dealer profit, or mark-up, from ED INVOICE? You should get numbers from $1K to perhaps as high as $2.5K on a hot model. Don't even look at the ED MSRP. Typical savings from US MSRP is in the 11-12% range. Good luck.

The ED discount is fixed. You negotiate with your dealer as the dealer's cost is reduced the same.
FYI, the ED car does not count in dealers quota, and in 2007, the dealer got $250 per car for prepping the car when it arrives.

You will need to purchase from BMW the European disc.
