I received my final bill for my M3 which I turned in when I picked up my 550. The dealer said that it was the cleanest one they have ever gotten back, especially with close to 80,000 miles on it, so I expected no wear & tear charges. They charged me $944 which was my last month's payment plus just over $1500 for excess mileage. Fair enough. I called BMW to make my payment via credit card and the friendly consultant asked whether I wanted to pay the whole thing that day or make 12 monthly interest-free payments. Well DUH. It was really kind of nice of them to offer me that option. Kind of made me feel that maybe they do value my business afterall.
