Samyt, did your CA give you the August 14th date at the beginning? I am trying to figure out if my dealer just keeps moving the date up a week at a time or if it is the VPC. I just don't want Aug 13th to come and have them tell me it's now August 20th.

I've been in a similar situation and got a loaner from my dealer, so that wasn't as bad as a Hyundai, but you WILL appreciate your new E60 waaaay more, after driving the Hyundai.

I just got my car back after using a loaner for three days.
They gave me a ** Mini...**
And to add insult to injury, they gave me a ** gold coloured ** Mini.......
in all honesty, it's good fun to drive (for about an hour), but boy did I miss my
-automatic gearbox
-active steering
-logic7
-500 nm of torque

Just found out the Demo is pre wired for Sat radio, so no Nav retrofit. If they don't ship the car on the 13th I think I will order an 05. I wanted the ventilated seats anyway. Maybe Performance Center Delivery.

Talked to my CA yesterday. He doubts delivery of the recalled car from the VPC before 1st week in September. He has an 05 build for that same week so I took it. Est delivery 2nd week in October. I'm not holding my breath though. 
(closest thing to a blue face) Will pay more and also tweak my options pick up the Nasca and Ventilated seats, Logic 7 and drop the CWP and heated rear seats. I suspect the dealers and CA's spy on these boards alot. It probably pisses them off about all the inside info that shows up but I doubt I would have picked up the extra options if I hadn't read so much about them here! 
Awaiting pricing for MY2005. I have seen 3 series but not 5 series. Please post if you have them!
