It sounds like the consensus is to stay away from the big cities in the new ride, however I am still considering making the Paris airport (CDG) my final destination. They have a BMW return station at terminal 3 and this would provide for a direct flight to Cincinnati. Does anyone have any experience with returning an ED vehicle to Paris location?

Dropped my 545 off at Paris (CDG) on 4/1/05. This was after spending nearly 3 weeks driving from Munich to Venice to Assisi to Rome to Florence to Nice to Paris. When arriving in the large cities, parked the car at secure garages and used local transportation. The drop off went very well. Though finding terminal 3 was a bit of a chore. Drove in a circle around the airport twice before figuring it out. The drop off is just a vacant lot with a small trailer for an office. I was nervous about it at first, but soon through my fate and the car's fate to the wind and went with it. The next time I saw the car was June 1st at the dealership! All in all a great experience that I hope to soon do again! There were many side trips during our journey to a lot of out of the way places were you really get to see the real country and people. Anyway, enjoy your new ride and have a lot of fun!

If you do go to Paris, stay in Reims at one of the champagne castles. That's a great experience and a nice scenery..
