There is only one dealer in Las Vegas. Has anyone got a copy of the SIB? Obviously the dealer isn't going to acknowleged the existance of the SIB if they don't want to follow it's recomendation.

Regarding a post that has been moved regarding oil changes, here is the quote from the "Service and Warranty Information" manual (2006 530 series):

Page 4; NOTE: "Change oil at least once a year."

Page 2; "....based not only upon the accumulated mileage, but taking into account important factors such as high or low engine speeds, short or long trip driving, and condition of the engine oil and brake pads."

Therefore, I believe that a 2006 BMW 530i owner can have their engine oil changed, without charge and regardless of mileage, once a year.
