My dealer was servicing my car yesterday and as a courtesy they washed my car and gave me a side-order of curb rash from the car wash or from the guy who test drove it. Its one or the other. Either way, that damage WAS NOT on my car when I dropped it off. I made a pretty big fuss via email about it and sent it to my SA along with photos to get this fixed. They said to drop it off, I'd get a loaner, and in 1 or 2 days they'd return it with the 2 front wheels refinished. The damage was on the fronts only.
The manager on the phone gave me the impression that he didn't believe any of his people did it and said its impossible the car wash caused it. But he said they'd fix it anyways... Like it was my fault.
Should I feel like an ass for asking small curb rash like this to be fixed?

No. It's outrageous that they treat our cars this way. I brought mine in for tire replacement and they damaged a wheel. I brought it back for repair but you can still see it.

my guess is that you're running narrower tires on those wheels?? well then you're a lor more prone to wheel damage.
anyways, did you see their carwash? is it an automated wash with the wheel guides on the floor? you should always avoid those tyoe of carwashes.
