Hey Mikej..... Nah....... the privacy glass is just another way of saying I have 30% tinted windows all around except for the front windsheild. The dark glass, up against the Titanium Silver Metalic, looks absolutely great.

Oh, okay. I thought it was some special tint from the factory. Have any pics? I'm planning to go with 35%, but I know some look darker than others depending on the brand and type of tint.

Thanks for the link. The pics are cool. 30% doesn't look too much darker. California laws prohibit us from putting tint on our front windows but everyone does it anyway.

I had a courtesy delivery to Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo, CA, done for me and the guy there wasn't too interested in getting them turn on for me...also wanted $70. Gee, sorry I didn't BUY the car from you can you can be sure I won't go back to you again for not helping me out! Sigh, short-term thinkers....

I instead took it to my buddy up in Sacramento and he turned them on for me for free. Took several minutes to hook up the car and get it working.

You're lucky that they even did courtesy delivery for you. Lots of dealers dont like that since they didnt make the profit of selling you the car. Service? Ya they could care less if they get one extra car in for service. Just what I've noticed...

Hey, give the guy a break. It would have taken you less trouble to answer than to type what you wrote.

The letters stand for Daytime Running Lights.

You're welcome

Not really...a dealer can make $500 doing a courtesy delivery. The thing is, he didn't make that money because he was trading with another guy who was doing a CD to my dealer. Still, short-term thinking....
