So, this past Tuesday...exactly what the title says, curbed my rear driver side rim. Luckily no severe damage, only paint/powder coat chipped/damaged, but it was long, about 6-8 inches. Notice I used the word "was". I researched via the forums for a good fix and came up with a guy named Son Tran. Gave him a call Wednesday, met today for the fix. I have to say this guy is great. He sanded the rim down, color match and clear coated the rim in about 1 hour. Price was phenomenal. I highly recommend this guy for a wheel/rim rash repair. . Son definitely knows his craft and does it well. The price: VERY REASONABLE. If you are in the So. Cal area here's his number:

What price is "very reasonable" may I ask? I have a guy quote me $150 for just to clear coat a 2 cm clear coat peel from a tyre exchange!

I tried posting pics but I don't have a page to host and get a url for images. Son definitely knows his craft and does it well. The price: VERY REASONABLE. If you are in the So. obviouly price is dependent on degree of damage...he also worked with me a little more because I had to meet him (drove 20 minutes only)

less...rather not say because as stated before it depends on damage and amount of work needed to repair...both on this forum and other bmw forums it's hard to find an exact cost but it's equally hard to find someone stating he is overpriced and/or his work is bad...

My guy charged $80 for that picture you have. I did the same thing, same length and depth and all.
