My Ride: 2007 550i (Sport, Prem, Nav, Logic7, Comf. Seats) Black on Black
I just picked up a 2007 550i and I have already had it back to the dealer a couple times for a broken map pocket, missing battery in key-FOB, broken rear cup holder, improperly re-painted front bumper from stone chips & a couple other things. All of these items should have be caught be the CPO process.
Reviewing the CPO guidelines to see if any other things were missed I read any brake pad should be replaced if less than 5mm. I am measuring 3mm on the rear. The CPO checklist said the pads measured 5mm and the rotors measured 22.43mm & 22.55mm. The guidelines stated that the rotors should be above the min thickness. I believe the min. thickness it is stamped on the hub, however it is cold and raining here and I need to know the minimum thickness for the rear rotors. I would like to have the replaced when the change out the rear pads. Thanks!!

Its still under factory maintenance right? so you should still have at least another year to go... if your brakes are that low... you'll prob need new ones in a few months. so might as well use them up then go get new brakes just before it goes out of the free maintenance.

+1 was just going to mention this. You should still be under factory maintenance. I would get them replaced with that.

then call the dealer, make an appt and tell them specifically why you are bringing it in and have proof that it needs to be fixed

When my dad had an MB W140 S500 back in the 90's something broke on it the time of warranty was over but it was in perfect condition
It was well looked after, at the MB service a German that worked in a Russian MB shop looked at the W140 said its his favorite MB car and done the work under warranty covered when warranty was well over..
