Clutch being replaced, am I being over charged???

Last I remember the standard labor rate was somewhere around $60 per hour, $350 for labor does sound about right.

It was from a Dodge dealership and the conversation about it was almost ten years ago. The dealership had to use some sort of federal/standard service wage rate. I figured the rate would have increased by now.

I would think an indy could charge whatever someone else is willing to pay.

now go get urself a nicer clutch and spend that $350 for labor and u have a better than OEM clutch! COnsider that a mod rather than repair and u'll feel MUCH better

$60/hour for labor? Dealer here is well over $100. Independent local mechanic is just about $100.

I see you called Alex it's good, just don't live your car in his shop for long because he's also doing body work in the same place. When I got my car back from him there dust was allover my car inside to, my mistake was I brought my car in on Wednesday then ordered part for it so my car was sitting there till next Tuesday waiting for it and then Alex start complaining . Just bring car with your new part so you out same day
