Can I ask when your wife took delivery of the car - I notice that the iDrive knob does not come with leather inserts and the kidney grills are not in chrome which is the case for recently delivered cars.

took delivery today. the Chrome grille in my e60 was retrofitted. Here in Singapore, the 530 has standard chrome. not sure about 525.

Chrome grilled is coming as standard on MY2006. This is obviously not a MY2006. No leather i-drive knob, no chromed grills, no start/stop button, and Chiaretto red has been changed with Barbera Red on MY2006 cars.
However is a great car, congrats.
