ISUK, you are absolutely right, I should have mentioned this, at resale time don't expect much back from that GBP 5,000, that's for sure. Definitely make the leather dashboard + Alcantara + individual wood a very expensive proposition...Mercedes has a different approach with Designo, U can pick and choose, I believe they charge GBP 1,200 for the E class alcantara roof lining, then again no matter what you put inside it is still going to look like 95% of the chauffeur fleet

My Ride: E60 530d Sport - Carbon Black, Black Dakota Leather, Media Pack (satnav, bluetooth, CD changer), heated font seats, through load
Voice rec comes with satnav in the US model. AFAIK it's still an extra for the UK model.

Yank version also gets TV in the "navigation pack".
Satnav pro - ?1665
TV function - ?680
Voice rec - ?270
That's $4600

I'm thinking of Amarone leather and trim. I wonder if in real life it looks the same as in the brochure. Seems black Alcantara should be headliner in this case. Just
not sure if it won't be depressing dark inside. I wish BMW introduced some more
standard exterior colours. At the moment some 5 colours cover more than 90 pc of all the E60 on the streets. I want something different but on the other hand not so exotic like chiaretto red, don't like anything at all from their 5-series Individual
exterior colours, fond of Sterling Grey and Miniral Silver (6-series).

Igor,
I know what you are saying. You certainly don't want to go to exotic anyway otherwise it might just be a killer at resale time. Onyx Blue was really a favorite of mine and still is but it is just too close from orient blue and carbon black to justify the premium. The main car in the individual brochure is Green (individual one, can't remember the name and Amraone/Walnut Amarone, it is nice but certainly quite dark, the lighter leathers definitely help the light into the car but then again you have the trade off of them getting dirty very easily...BTW, I don't think I could buy a green car and probably impossible to sell anyway but the one in the brochure looks quite nice
Banglebox_530d, it seems very odd that all the price lists I have don't show the extended voice control, except on one old one I have pre sport/535d release. I can't find it on the BMW configurator either, will check with the dealer tomorrow.

igor,
If you order a sport model there are a further 4 colours available via Individual - Sterling Grey, Le Mans Blue and Imola Red are 3 of them, don't have the info to hand for the 4th but I think it is a light blue metallic from memory. The UK price list shows these as being a further ?2000!!
cpd1,
Extended voice control is an additional extra in the UK. Having seen it on a 7, I'd say it is well worth it.

These are the extra sports model only colours as per our discussion only in the thread:
Bluewater 896
Sterling GRey 472
Imola Red 405
Japan Red 438
Le Mans Blue 381
BTW anybody has any idea what Japan Red or Bluewater look like, just for the sake of curiosity, cartianly not going to pay the premium
?2,000 is the price of exclusivity in this instance...
ISUK: I will add the voice contro, my salesman told me it was included, would have been surprised BMW was actually giving something away
