BWM San Francisco is offering me a 36 month lease w/ a 1.8 (4.33%) money factor. They have also added an $825.00 "Acquisition Fee". Is this what BMWFS charges, so there is no negotiation? What have others been charged?

same in NJ I just picked up a 525i and had to pay $825.00. When I had a Mercedes-Benz I had to come up with $1,000.

Was this lease through BMWFS? I haven't seen a MF that low. What were the terms of the lease....length of term and mileage?

I just locked in a lease rate for a car I have ordered (no obligation) so I know that if I want to lease I can do no worse than the current terms. I guess I better be prepared for the "aquisition fee" as well!!

The lease acquisition fee charged by BMW FS is actually $625. The extra $200 is concealed dealer profit. It can typically be negotiated out of the deal. The dealers treat leasing as a major profit center because the math is very obstruse. The best way to check their math is with software such as Lease Wizard. If the numbers don't match what you have in the software just do not sign the deal until both sets of numbers match.
