10 days ago, I had a service warning on my car at 36000miles.

SO, I booked it in (No courtesy car) but wasn't too bad as my wife was off work and we were going out for the day together.

I delivered the car and the lady at the service reception put the key in the reader to see what needed.

"Oh just a vehicle check"

"What?" I said, "no oil or anything... just a lights/seatbelts type check"

"Actually, we check the tyres too (amongst other things)"

"Ok" says I "when is the next service due?"

"In about 2000 miles" was her reply.

"Can you do that now please?" I beg...

"No.... it's not due!"

Ggggrrrrr

So - another wasted half of a day.......

The only good thing (if there is any) is that it is on a service plan so I had nothing to pay. If I was paying, I would have been hopping mad.

Anyone else had this in the UK/elsewhere? (Oh - and it said it needed a "Heathcheck" too.....WTF?!?!)
