I couldn't find this anywhere on the forum, so thought I'd attach these here. I am sure others will find it useful when comparing the BMW extended warranty with other 3rd party warrenties.
I was offered $2380 for the 3rd party, but it goes for additional 4 years, and up to 100,000 miles. The BMW 2OP seems to be an exclusionary type policy. IMO, it seems to cover more than the 3rd party. What do you guys think??

I would DEFINITELY go with aftermarket. The trick is to stick to the rules of buying a good policy - which does NOT mean the cheapest. There are many factors to consider, most of which I outlined in my response on this thread:

I have a contact for warranties, 3rd party, but quality, PM me for info if you want to shop (sorry for the shameless plug, but I truly am convinced that my guy will do better - otherwise I myself would not deal with him - feel free to prove me wrong, y'all )
