Hi Guys:

Saw this on the bmwusa.com site and someone here has already mentioned it.

BMW are offering $1500 'holiday cash' to those who take delivery of and are financing or leasing a new BMW F10 by January 3, 2011. Other amounts are being offered for other models.

It was not clear to me if their quoted lease example included the $1500 or not so I called BMW financial and they said that I have to speak to a dealer for clarification.

Unfortunately, when manufacturers quote lease examples it often depends on individual dealer contributions, so it is not easy to work out what kind of discount you are really getting.

On the F10 I have just ordered, the dealer has already agreed the discount they will be giving me in writing so, hopefully, I should now be able to add another $1500 to that, as I will be leasing the car through BMW and it should arrive towards the end of December.

Regards - Roger

I'd love to know your outcome since I'm expecting delivery this month. I just sent an email to my CA to found out if I can get it despite he fact we agreed to an earlier price

I can't speak for BMW but see absolutely no reason why this will not apply to you.

As far as I know, this incentive is from BMW and not the dealer.

By the way, forgive my ignorance here, but when you say you sent an email to your CA, what does CA mean??

In USA this a huge deal. Just in time for me. I am hoping to take delivery of 535xi in next 5 days when my car comes in from VPC.

If your not financing or leasing you can still use. Just sign up for financing at .9% and you can payoff after 7 payments. I think the minimum loan amount is $7500. For less than $50 if your take minimum loan the interest for 6 payments you get, $1500. Please reconfirm with your dealer before listening to just me.

IIRC: the $1500 credit is already factored into the example prices/models on the bmwusa.com website
as long as you take delivery before 1/3/2011, you should get the holiday credit applied to your negotiated price not MSRP (even tho the website states "...off MSRP..."). But I would think it comes down to the dealership and whether or not they choose to participate in the current specials...

just an FYI, here's November lease rates and residuals via leasecompare.com

The special rebates apply to current BMW FS rates and are not applicable to previous months rates and residuals. This month the rate on the F10 went up and is compensated by the rebate. The rebate cannot be applied to rates that were locked prior to 11/2/2010. It's either/or on the program, not both. Your Client Advisor can work out the difference in which one will work best for you but it's probably going to be about the same, almost to the penny.

works out good for me...MF went down and residuals stayed the same, so hopefully I can get the credit and take advantage of the lower MF...

thanx for chiming in Jeff...
