BMW NA has responded and more than made this right. All I can say is that there is a new 535i six speed built to my spec on the talipa arriving in Oxnard Jan 27. The insurance fraud team is all over this and so is BMW NA.
I have no further issues. BMW has taken this with the utmost seriousness.
