Hello everyone,

I will be travelling to the Ventura/LA/OC/SD area in the near future. If my 545i blows up, is crumpled or ?, what would be the best dealer in the area to take it to? Or which one should I avoid?

(best = good SA, techs, work with you, etc.)

I've heard nothing but good things about Bob Smith in Calabasas

I've been going to Center BMW in Sherman Oaks since I got my e60. My service experience has been alright. My SA has been 5-stars every single time. He's a childhood friend...Andre, he's a good guy.

I have juggled center and Bob Smith. I bought my car at Bob Smith and it is the superior dealership BUT the service has been hit and miss. When my car was under the original warranty they covered EVERYTHING. I even got them to reupholster my seats but under CPO it's been a fight and a headache for anything. I got center to replace my idrive screen as a courtesy because there were spots on the inside. I didn't even buy my car from them Even though it came like that from BS they wouldn't fix it...

Bob smith has the best loaner cars though

I'm told Century West has a good reputation from two friends of mine who use their service department. The dealers in the WLA area can be a little hit and miss.

Update!

Stumbled onto this site:

www.dealerrater.com

Enter "BMW" then "California" to get a review of all Cal dealers. Only two dealers were rated over 4 (out of 5). Sterling and Center. Select your favorite dealer and you will get a list of reviews. Some very interesting reading there
