Has anyone experienced positive or negative results going through an auto Broker rather than a dealer?

Any recommended Brokers?

Thanks........ Spartacus_33

Don't waste your time w/ a broker, give my man a call:

Jim Cupp GSM (General Sales Manager)

DELON BMW
660 LIBERTY ST NE - SALEM, OR 97301-1059
Phone (877) 266-0117
or
503-399-9541 (Phone) 503-585-5933 (Fax)
www.delonbmw.com

Tell him that you know me (no I don't get anything out of it, but it will help you, as I purchased 12 cars from him already).

You can always get a middle man and paymore by call a broker.

I take it that you Kuni and Russmusen is not working w/ ya huh?? Nothing new here.

Good luck,

beewang

I've tried brokers on other vehicles and they've never been able to negociate a better deal than I was able to get for myself. If you've got airlline miles and are interested in a European vacation, I sincerely doubt any broker could beat a Euro Delivery deal negotiated with the fleet manager.

Hi. Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is a auto broker? I've never financed or leased any of my cars....does it only apply to those situations? Or is it someone you would pay 'X' amount of money to -to negotiate the best deal for the vehicle you are looking to buy without actually doing the haggling yourself regardless of your chosen method of purchase? I'm terrible at bargaining, and if someone like this could save me thousands more than I could on my own I would certainly consider it.

The theory behind an auto broker is that they buy in volume from dealers around the country.... so the dealers give them a break on prices. If you hate dealing with greedy salesmen.... you might give one a try.

I actually enjoy messing with those greedy salesmen, but wanted to make sure I was getting "the best deal". I checked with a couple brokers, (try www.eglobalautos.com) and the best they could do for me was $2K above invoice, roughly 5% off MSRP. You also have to pay for delivery ($650) and don't get that "red carpet treatment" that a BMW dealer is famous for.
