I got a 7% discount in the UK and the dealer matched the best (reputable) leasing offer I got off the internet. I also got an umbrella and a whole load of cleaning gear for taking the order form into two pages !

5% here in Hong Kong. But there's only one BMW dealer, a monopoly.

Some people got good price but bad interest rate. At the end, it's the same.
Interest rate? I didn't have to loan money for tis car if that's what you're trying to say? 9.5% is indeed a really good offer. But normally it would have been 10-11% but this was at the beginning of 2004. Then there was a carsalon in brussels and they gave a little bit more then the usual.

Going to pay less than invoice price (kbb.com) and only $200 for destination charge. Should be built in July.

I got $1500 off mine in 11/03. Sent a fax w/ exactly what I wanted to 20-30 dealers in the Los Angeles area a week before month end. Tues & Wed best, as dealers are slow. Figured this was best I could do considering it had just been realeased & I was in a hurry.
