I don't know all the details and at this point and I'm not advocating that this is a good deal or not but don't forget about brake pads, rotors, etc. Also, don't forget the scheduled "Inspection I", "Inspection II", etc., the brake fluid flushes, etc. Wouldn't the full maintenance warranty cover those things too? Has anyone ever seen how much those things cost to perform?
It looks as if it may also increase the resale value for two reasons... One, it'll show that the car has been properly maintained buy BMW trained technicians and two, it's transferable to the new owner so that's one less thing they have to worry about...

I do my own brake fluid, but I think it's around $200 at the dealer. They'll only do it once every two years, whereas it really should be done every year. More often with very spirited driving.

I believe this has been around for some time (I know it existed back in 2005 when I got my 550). I think the change is that you can now include the M cars and the diesel cars/truck.

As I said before I have this but I would not argue with those that say it's not worth it if they are willing to do their own maintenance. I was thinking it would add value if I were to sell it and a little piece of mind.

Anyone know if this program (extended maintenence) is still alive? I went to BMWUSA.com as noted in the original post, but could not dig out any reference to it.
Thanks, sixcard
