What do you guys think about a 2005 545i with 50k miles salvage title with body damage just needs bondo and the whole car needs to be repainted +hood+windshield+mirros need to be replaced what do you guys think i should pay for this car?? i recent got the car checked by a mechanic its in awesome shape mechanically!

1st rule of Euro cars, if can't handle the heat($) at the main dealer, don't buy one.

Buy a E39 Msport (I still want one! and I have a 545!)

Sorry if I was a bit blunt, but i've learnt the hard way

DOnt do it. Its not worth it. You can get CPO 545s for mid 20k now with coberage. You will never be able to sell this car and if it has enough damage to be salvaged I question whether it really is in awesome shape.

If it's a car you can buy at less than 50% of wholesale value less the cost of the repairs AND it's a car that you realize that you'll probably have to run into the ground because it has absolutely no resale value with a salvage title, then you will be OK with it. If you are a person who will want out of this car any time in the forseeable future, then I'd forget about it.
