My Ride: Currently: (3/1/06) 2002 530i black on black prem, sport, cold, xenon.
Mark - thanks for all that feedback, great stuff. I'm not a big sound guy at all, and think the standard radio/CD I have in my 2002 530i is just fine. I'll try and sit in a car with Logic7 to hear the difference. I'm certainly doing the Blue and Beige, although going to now look at grey interior. I don't have the guts to look at Auburn.
I didn't realize I could get HUD without Nav, thought they were together. I need to check them out as well but on me, might be waste of $. I think Aero kit is a must. That will seperate me from everyone. I haven't seen anyone in No. VA with a kit. I'm passing on sat radio, I'm more of a CD and Ipod guy anyway. Thanks for all your advice, i'm more excited then ever now. I'll post pics.

Subter - I live in No. VA and with Blue exterior and Aero kit, tinted windows might put me WAY over the top. I do love them though and once get car will strongly consider them. Would be almost too sharp a look with dark blue exterior and 166M wheels!

I live in Florida, and have Ti Gray car with Black interior.
Summer heat is not a problem with black interior.... UNLESS you don't tint the windows.
But.... in Florida, everybody has tinted windows.

As for what to order on your car.....color, again, is indeed very subjective. The only thing I have noticed about my Ti-gray 530 is that the paint is very soft, and so it chips very easily. With darker colors, the chips and swirls, and other imperfections show a bit easier....but, I would encourage you to get the color you like, and to make sure you have seen the color on the car, and not just a brochure. I opted for Sirius over the HD because there are no stations in our area that broadcast in HD, to my knowledge, so it wouldn't do much for me. But, if you live in a bigger radio market, I think the HD radio would be cool....Sirius sound quality does lack a bit.....
I live in California, but I still think the cold weather package is worth having......the heated seats, and steering wheel are great!! Good luck on your order!!

Hey....don't mean to hijack the thread, but I just ordered an 07 550 with Ti-Gray, and originally had the gray leather, then switched to black......do you have any pics of your car showing the interior/exterior? I can't find any cars with that combo on the lots, but I think it would look great......
See what I mean.... VVVVVVVV

Anyway..... joking aside... Black interior looks great on Ti-Gray.
You are correct..... this is a rare combo. But I will assure you, that my car gets all the attention when I take it to the dealership. Nobody has got one like this in Orlando, but me.
I have never seen a single other Ti-Gray 545.

I don't have any pics showing the interior against the exterior.... because I have tinted windows, and it is therefore impossible to see the interior and exterior at the same time.

You can ALMOST see the seats in this pic.

Window tint is essential. It's great for checking out babes on the road. You could be licking the glass, and never get busted.

What am I missing - what is Ti-Grey? Special order or something, never seen that offered.
Duh, editing now but see its Titanium grey, looks nice on your car. I'm still partial to Dark Blue.

Previous Ride - 2002 540 6-speed, sport, turning in with 114,000 wonderful miles
Hate to be the guy to get this back on subject, but I had to chime in. Love your color choice!!! I went with the Auburn interior with an anthicite headliner, I couldn't happier. I've never gotten nearly as many ooo's and aaaah's as I have with this color combination. I echo the above member on his choice for the Monoco blue. Besides, as someone else said, everyone else has a black or silver E60.
The final choice is yours, but I for one vote for the Blue. (and this comes from a green and white Spartan fan!)
