Thanks. I'm taking that leap of faith with you!
Here's something to while away the time with. I found this on the Roadfly 6 Series board: It's a tour of the VPC at Port Hueneme, where our cars will be coming through.

I just called the GM of my dealership and he confirmed my car does have the Satalite radio. He thinks the option was put on the car after the owner's circle posted.

bmwin14rsm, I checked K-Line just in case our cars aren't on the Elektra. It appears that the only ship that had a Bremerhaven, Germany - Long Beach, California itinerary between the time my car was produced (9/15 according to OC) and when it was shipped (9/25) was the Lykes Explorer. It departed Bremerhaven on 9/21 and is scheduled into Long Beach on 10/09. That's one fast ship, so I hope our cars are on it!
Here's the entire itinerary:
Voyage Itinerary
TASCO 5 service
Lykes Explorer, voyage 069W
Location D/A Date
GDYNIA, POLAND Dep Thu Sep 09
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN Dep Thu Sep 09
HELSINKI, FINLAND Dep Fri Sep 10

GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN Dep Fri Sep 17
ANTWERP, BELGIUM Dep Sat Sep 18
THAMESPORT, UNITED KINGDOM Dep Mon Sep 20
BREMERHAVEN, GERMANY Dep Tue Sep 21
HOUSTON, TX USA Arr Tue Oct 05
NEW ORLEANS, LA USA Arr Thu Oct 07

LOS ANGELES, CA USA Arr Sat Oct 09
LONG BEACH, CA USA Arr Sat Oct 09
OAKLAND, CA USA Arr Tue Oct 12
DENVER, CO USA Arr Wed Oct 13
Given the lag that everyone seems to report on Owner's Circle, it's entirely possible that this is our ship.

Good point, Iceman! Add to that Houston on 10/05 and then New Orleans on 10/07? I'm no captain, but if you're heading from East to West, wouldn't you hit New Orleans first? Maybe they found the captain of the Exxon Valdez to navigate this ship!
I'm not so sure I want K-Line handling my precious cargo!

I can't say for sure why they schedule the way they do but I'll add that often times the ship will not move in a logical direction. There are times when they will backtrack a little bit for whatever reason.
Also, sometimes if a port is busy, the ship won't have an available berth at the port for an extra day or two so it has to anchor offshore and wait for their scheduled time to dock. (Sure beats circling!)
My car sat offshore for a few days before actually docking due to the availability of a slip. I think that might explain why it takes two days to go from Long Beach to Oakland, etc. It may be that they arrive in Long Beach and can't unload until a day or so later or it may be that they arrive in Oakland but can't dock until a day or so.

I have been informed, BMW does not birth in Long Beach. BMW sends its shipments to Port Hueneme.
If anyone knows different, let me know. I am going to try to figure our the shipping manafest on the other company.

I did a little research on K-Line. My dealer said my ship was headded to Panama. K-Line doesn't go through Panama. I also suspect, the K-Line ship ports at Houston and then ships its cargo over land to the other ports.
