I need some help. I am in the Chicago area and will begin shopping for a 545i. Can I ask those of you that have purchased an E60 to let me know what deal you made? I check Automotive News and 2004 monthly sales are down 7% in November so this may be a good time. Thanks for the help.

Welcome aboard.

It strongly depends on your situation, regional, timing, grade, etc... In general, they do not want to discount 545i since it is their highest model in e60. Second, it is very hard to get 1500~200 over invoice especially once you place an order with your options. Third, BMW is not a car with strong discount because we want to pay extra value for the "ultimate driving machine"!
It's up to you. You should visit dealership as many as possible, which is the key to get better deal. Good luck!

What??? How on earth did the dealer lose money to give you your car? so they lost $5050 to sell you your car? Hell I'll buy another one and sell it back to my dealer!
