The 535D is available now, my brother in-law picked his up on Friday It's pretty awesome.

I know it's available now. But when I asked the dealer on delivery times in September, they said delivery would be January. So I'm assuming that a December order would get delivered around Feb/March.

Active Cruise is NOT available with UK Sport version.

HUD for RHD vehicles not ready until March 2005 BUILD onwards. (Originally Jan - now shifted again.)

Steering Wheel Heating NOT available with M Sports Steering Wheel in UK Sport Models.

Carbon Black is a really nice colour. In the daytime, it doesn't actually look black black because it has a bit of very dark blue in it. So I guess you can say that it is not "as black" as Sapphire Black.

Have fun ordering...!

Whats climate comfort glass? Are you sticking with the aluminium cubing for the dash? Personally think it looks abit cheap.

The climate comfort glass is blocking the infra red heat from the sun. So the interior stays more comfortable!
Infra-Red protecting glass would describe this option better...

OK, I've placed my order with the dealer. Got a week or so to finalise options, delivery late Jan

Amendments to the above:
541 Active Cruise Control removed - not available on the Sport model
356 Climate Comfort Glass removed - not available with the HUD
000 M rear spoiler removed - prefer the cleaner lines without it
438 Dark Poplar Wood High Gloss added

Decided on Nasca Leather Beige with Carbon Black - anyone got pics of this combination?

Haven't ordered the folding rear seats or the extended lights package - is this really necessary? Also no need for blinds as no children

Order now finalised. Decided to go for the folding rear seats at the last minute, but haven't bothered with extended lights package.

Car now possibly due before Christmas. Have told the wife not to bother with an xmas present, but to settle up with the dealer instead

I'd get the folding seats if you plan to pick-up something long in the boot... The boot is large but not *that* large

Folding seats were added - but the next day I tried to add extended voice control but it was too late :'(

Good news is the car arrived at the dealers this morning, and I pick it up tomorrow!!
