After 2 weeks of PUMA and rental Hemi Dodge Charger life, I got my car back today with nothing more to show than 330 miles and changed snow tires. The near-daily "Electronic Failure" warning and zeroing out of the instruments was never replicable by them, even though it did it on the way into their lot the morning I dropped it off. I'm dissappointed, but glad to have my car back.
Oh, and they charged me $20 for gas while their tech drove it for 330 miles. Not amused, Ray Hull |
...not surprised...
We had a similar case with my wife's Subaru in the past few months. The car was in a total of 5 times for extended periods of time with an electronic problem (CD changer randomly starts to eject and pull in CDs until battery is empty). Although I had it on video, they "could not reproduce". At least, they didn't charge us for gas - this is absolutely a joke. |
