The 'fact' that you can not order cold weather and ventilated seats together is wrong. I saw my build sheet. I shows Cold Weather Pacakge and then shows ventilated seats as a substitute for heated seats included in the package. It has a little * showing the change. I confirmed with my salesperson that the actual build that took place included both options. He said his system shows the car has both options on it. I guess maybe in 07 models you can now have both together.
Dang I wish that I could have seen that as an option. I would have chosen the ventilated seats over heated due to that I am moving South. I never once saw it on the online bmw.com site. Where was it?

My 550i made it through production very quickly. It went into Awaiting Transport last night. I have not felt this anxious about a car for a long time. Anyone have any idea how long it takes from this point to arriving at my dealer? It is going to OH and will be shipped through the NJ VPC.

My Ride: 2007 525xi (Ordered 4/10, delivery 5/31)
Premium, auto, cold weather, folding rear seats
So my car just got off loaded in Charleston on 5/22/06. The Owner Circle has an estimated delivery in Chicago of 5/27/06. Does that sound reasonable to get from the port to the VPC to my dealer in Chicago in 5 days? My dealer didn't have any idea where that estimate comes from. The dealer thinks that a more reasonable estimate is by 6/3/06. Anyone else have recent experience with a new vehicle delivery coming in through Charlseston?

I picked up my car this morning from the dealer. It showed up just 4 days after getting into port in Charleston. The delivery date was in fact accurate on the Owner's Circle Website. I'm loving my car so far and spending the evening reading through the manuals. Got my phone and phone book all synced up and I'm going through all the voice commands. Very cool.
