My Ride: 2010 M5 alpine white, black full leather, etc.
While browsing the BMW NA website I noticed that Habberstad BMW out on Long Island had a 2004 545i with only 800 miles as a CPO for sale. Does anyone know how that could be possible? It struck me as a bit strange.

I agree anything is possible. If it is what it seems to be, someone is going to get a heck of a good deal providing they are hard bargainers. Ray, you are about right. The dealer is asking about 51K.

As long as you don't mind it's a demo or loaner.
Forget about the break-in of this car though

My Ride: 2011 F10 535i -Brilliant Graphite/Oyster
2006 E5004matic- I must have been on drugs when I got this car
2004 545i Black Sapphire/Truffle Brown interior
It would not surprise me if this was not a car that was bought back from an owner by BMWNA and they finally figured out what was wrong with it and fixed it. They could have asked a dealer to sell it for them as they do not do direct sales as far as I know. Purely Speculative on my part.
