So I took the 545i in for service this morning and what do I get, my choice of their "elite loaners for VIP customers!" Ahem...don't know how/why I made this list..but I'm like "Im good for it..."

So I get into a 135 and drove off -- all I can say is Wow!!! This is an unbelievable car, like a freakin torpedo. It handles great, has amazing torque and great engine response. The drive is tight and secure and there is very little sway n roll on cornering...

Im thinking of getting this down the road.... Im going to hate turning it back in!

Its gonna be great in a few years to buy a used one or something and just supe that thing up. Damn the possibilities with this light little bi turbo clown car.

I haven't driven one, but I hated sitting in it at the dealership. Everything is so compressed, and many things look like an afterthought.

I shared (and still do) your thoughts on it to look at, but I ended up getting into a 120d as loaner and I was pleasantly surprised. It handles superbly and was certainly no slouch. I had a ton of fun driving it.

If they could put that engine into a similar weight ratio in a body of a larger car----wow----that would be freakin unbelieavable. This thing can take on the Porsches any day of the week. Very few cars nail you back in the seat with a 0.5G sensation like this thing does....

+1. I drove one during the Komen Drive on Boston's Storrow Drive. Audi A8 guy kept wanting to race in traffic (a goof I guess). 135i can really haul, TPIM.

Agreed I too got one as a loaner couple of weeks ago and this thing was a little pocket rocket. Mid range was amazing, the suspension was a little harsh for me though, it seemed unnecessarily firm.
