To Canadain owners of 04 E60s, please provide your honest feedback on the experience. Any major issues you have? Any feedbacks are greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.
Reliability - Build quality - Ride & comfort - performance - running costs - practicality
The survey covered 100 cars (top selling 100 in the UK) and questioned 32000 drivers. The E60 came up 7th (only due to running costs and practicality). It would have otherwise ranked 5th ot 4th
Not only that, the magazine (which runs this survey annualy) states that for the last 3 years, the E60 has always been in the top 10
2005 was 8th
2006 was 10th
2007 was 5th
2008 was 7th
I hope this answers your question in someway

Why?
because he is asking for 2008 on how hte 2004 model would be... whats the difference? look at all the issues the 5 has so its a hit n miss on if he buys a car where the owner did not maintain or the owner did all the proper maintenance.

I think that is not a fair comment.

How is that not a fair comment
Also, ANY used car you buy will depend on the previous owner's maintenance of the car, I think this is a given; and I think Jchen knows that.
I would recommend buying from an approved dealer with a year warranty, if buying a used example.
