WTB - E61 Wagon/Touring
Hello,
Looking to buy a E61 Touring/Wagon in the USA. Details:
Can move pretty quick for the right car. Would desire to have the car located from Northeast US, Maryland - Maine, but will consider farther away cars.
If you are thinking about trading/moving out of your E60 wagon, and it meets the above parameters, Let me know.
Thanks.

Yes I saw this ad and was interested, but the car doesn't have NAV, which means it doesn't have voice active commands either.

Voice command and Nav
Remember - if you have only the 'white arrow', business Nav (no maps) the voice commands are very limited in number - but they don't work very well so I'm not too sure if you'd miss them.
Maybe in the USA you don't have the lesser Nav option but if you've not seen it, ignore it. It's not nearly as good as having the (much more) expensive 'Professional', map version.
I use a TomTom on the instrument panel as well as the built in one, it's interesting to see how often the suggested routes differ,

Still Looking
Still looking for a E61 with Manual Transmission. Checked AutoTrader, Cars.com, and CarGurus, as well as BMW CCA. Some fit the bill, but are very far away. Don't care if 530xi or 535xi.
Ideally < $35K,<40k miles, Premium Package.
Have money in hand.

You posted in my thread. PM me if you want to discuss anything.
My main thing might be mileage. However, it's 95% highway travel on trips which is why the various wear items seem to be lasting forever or maybe I'm just easy on cars. My LR3 brakes have lasted to this year, 65,000 miles, factory set!
Also, my car has only "lived in NC/Raleigh or Seattle. So not much exposure to salt. Here they use other stuff mostly until recently I think. Plus it gets power washed underneath after trips to ski anyway.
There is a big difference though in the driving experience between 07 vs 08+ The turbo N54 is so sweet and smooth while retaining a high fuel efficiency. The idrive got better with the 08+ too. The voice command is actually pretty cool like you mentioned wanting. "map facing north" = the map on screen. "scale" = the scale you want. "call___" and you see their name pop up to confirm with one click of the idrive controller. Cool stuff.
