Update 22/12/11:
I have had some interest from a few forums, however, some very silly offers as expected. After speaking with Mrs Percy, I will consider selling her for £9,900 if someone is keen to move pretty soon. We have a new arrival coming in the new year, , and have ordered something bigger in the form of an X5 to carry usual baby stuff. In an ideal world, I would like to also keep the E60. However, in reality it probably is not going to be feasible. PM me if you are interested.

I am in two minds about selling my much loved and immaculate BMW E60 530D MSport. However, I will see what response I get to this listing and take it from there. Apologies for the rather lengthy description, however I feel it is justified to show the time, effort and money that I have spent on her to make her a stunning example. To give you a tangible idea, I?ve spent around £20,000 and just over 2 years on making her look and drive like a 6-pot RWD should; that figure excludes the initial purchase price. For those who follow Detailing; I wash her using the 2BM and always polish and seal her with a few coats of wax. She is currently wearing a few coats of SwissVax Blau Weiss under a few coats of Collinite 476, so shes nicely wrapped up for winter!

Specification:
> E60 530D MSport [Late December 2004]
> Mystic Blue (Genuinly pristine "mirror finish" bodywork with no dents / scratches on any panels)
> Automatic 6 Speed
> Beige Leather Sports Seats (Partial Electric)
> Summer Wheels: OEM 19? 172 Spiders on Continental Conti ContactSport 2[*] (Recently Refurbished at BMW)
> Winter Wheels: OEM 17? 116 on Dunlop WinterSport 4D (Currently on)
> Service History (BMW and Specialist)
> MOT expires 01/01/2013
> Taxed until 31/07/2012
> 2 Previous Owners
> Dark Poplar Wood Trim
> HighGloss Shadowline Exterior Trim (Supplied and Fitted by BMW in 2011)
> Windscreen with Top Green Tint replaced in July 2011 - so no chips, piyying, etc
> Bluetooth
> Cruise Control
> Professional Navigation - Widescreen (Modified DVD to show Cameras and PostCode Search Facility)
> Visibility Pack (Adaptive Xenons / Cornering Lights)
> Media Pack
> Front / Rear parking Sensors
> Extended Voice Control
> OEM LCI LED Rear Lights (Supplied by BMW)
> M5 Rear Spoiler ? Factory Fitted
> M5 Trunk Finisher (Supplied and Fitted by BMW in 2011)
> Rear Tints
> Car has covered 149,500 miles but genuinely looks and drives like a much newer car; as expected following the work it has had, as below. There are no dents / scratches. Since having the turbo replaced at BMW, I have only run on Shell VPower or BP Super Ultimate diesel.
> Professionally Detailed at SwissVax UK Headoffice
> Oil service / oil filter / fuel filter / air filter / microfilter service carried out Summer 2011
> Summer tyres replaced Summer 2011 (All 4)
> Winter tyres only bought 17/12/2011 (All 4)

Another way to look at the millage is that the actual age of the car's components I have had replaced. The turbo and catalytic convertor have covered less than 20,000 miles. The inlet manifold and exhaust manifolds have covered less than 10,000 miles. The front lower suspension has covered less than 10,000 miles and the starter motor, rear aluminum H-Arms and alternator / air con belts have covered less than 800 miles. Summer tyres done less than 9,000 miles and winter tyres less than 100 miles!

[22] Alternator Belt Replaced [November 2011]

[28] Full KDS Wheel Alignment [Work carried out at BMW in December 2011]
[29] Continental Conti ContactSport 2[*] fitted all around on the 19? 172 Spider?s [2011]
[30] Dunlop WinterSport 4D fitted all around on the 17? 116 Winter Wheels [December 2011]

Please, no silly offers. In terms of setting expectations, I would probably let her go for above £10,000 if the right offer was put to me.

I know that you can get an E60 with less millage than my car for under £10,000. However, I'm pretty certain that they have not had the level of money and time spent of them as this example. Don?t be fooled as buying a cheap E60 is the easiest part. Maintaining it is the tricky part. However, the extensive work that I have had done leaves her wanting for nothing. I have done the hard and very expensive part, now perhaps someone else will enjoy her. Again, I will play this by ear and based on the response to this advert will make a judgement call.

Thank you for reading. Percy_991

Car comes with BMW Main Dealer Warranty

Some good news regarding BMW warranty and the extensive work I have had done to the car. I have spoken to the Service Department at BMW Sytner and the work that has been carried out will still have the balance of the 2 years parts and labour warranty even if I sell the car. This means that the following components have upto 23 months BMW Parts and Labour Warranty left:
Turbo / Catalytic Convertor / EGR Valve / Thermostat / Exhaust Manifold / Inlet Manifold / Starter Motor / Lower Control Arms (Suspension) / Front Drop Link (Suspension) / Rear H-Arms (Suspension) / Transmission Sump / Lights Module.
